August 2010 - February 2011
- Swing Announcer : The Weekends, I voice tracked from 6-9 am on the rock station Q92 and, live from 9 am until noon. I recorded the 7 am, 8am, 9am and noon news on the CHR station EZ Rock along with the weather forecasts for both stations (morning, afternoon, evening and overnight - the exception being when I was live). I conducted a live entertaining show on the Rock station that consisted of bits, and interesting material, along with community information. I also had to go out on location and broadcast live on remote.
- Webmaster: I work closely with the Promotions coordinator to publish all content and images to both websites (www.q92timmins.com and www.ezrocktimmins.com)

Remote Technician / Board Operator / Production Assiatant

- Remote Technician: setting up and testing audio broadcasting equipment for live broadcast.
- Board Operator (Audio Consol): when the on-air talents are out on remote, I am trusted to operate the audio board to broadcast the announcers with the correct audio levels.
- Production Assistant: Creating station ID’s and commercials for both stations. Directing the on-air talent to read scripts for the client. Also making sure all the audio for the next day is loaded and ready to play for the following day.

- I was employed with Atlantic Audio Pro, a mobile DJ entertainment business. As a DJ, I’m experienced on the microphone hosting different events ranging from weddings to schools to corporate or private parties. I am educated in all different types of music. I am also knowledgeable of the gear I use. I am responsible for setting up and tearing down equipment on location. In addition I am the company’s Program Director which handles all new music for Atlantic Audio Pro’s music library.

Broadcast Educators Award of Canada (BEAC) - National Award Winner for Best Audio Commercial
- As a result of a school project in 2009, I was encouraged to submit my 60 second radio commercial to the Broadcast Educators Award of Canada. I competed against several colleges and universities across Canada. I was in a category of 17 others. I won the Student category for “Best Audio Commercial”
